Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query under its own policy and supplies the results. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be kept long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, servers may record routine technical details about the visit:
- Page-view dates, times, and visit duration
- Device type and operating system
- Browser name and version
- Pages viewed during the visit
- Referring website, when supplied
- Internet Protocol address assigned to the device
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on a device. They and analytics services help combine traffic data, such as which pages are opened most and where visits end. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although doing so may change how some site functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Diagnosing errors and other technical problems
- Operating, securing, and improving site performance
- Routing a search query to the selected outside provider
- Understanding which resources visitors use
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The published material identifies how to reach the Concho County Sheriff's Office, local courts, the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Visitor data is not used to build records about third parties or consumer reports. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention periods, and disclosure practices govern information submitted to those tools. Review the provider's policy before running a query because we cannot set or control those terms.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to sheriff and court pages, Texas agency resources, legal organizations, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy applies. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. We do not operate that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be disclosed to:
- Analytics providers that measure traffic and performance
- Search partners chosen to process a query
- Advertising networks that serve content on the pages
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used for collected data. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so a breach or unauthorized access cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults, and personal information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18. If such information is identified, a request may be made for its deletion.
Your Data Rights
Rights vary by residence and the law that applies. In Texas, access to government records follows the Texas Public Information Act, Government Code Chapter 552, while criminal-history confidentiality and authorized dissemination are addressed in Government Code Chapter 411. Subject to applicable limits, you may:
- Request access to personal information held about you
- Ask that inaccurate data be corrected
- Seek deletion where the law permits it
- Object to certain forms of processing where a right applies
